Cute girls, and daddy

I thought this was so cute...Nate took a break from studying and laid down with Brenna. They both fell asleep like instantaneously, and I noticed her holding onto his thumb! So precious!


Yesterday I was trying to multi-task and I bathed the girls together! Kaylee was so grown up and helped me 'clean Brenna.' Brenna was completely content as well. She loves her bath! Lotioning up afterwards isn't quite as enjoyable for her since it makes her cold. As you can see, I painted her little toe nails for the first time. It was way too fun.

























Brenna is a tummy girl. She loves to sleep on her tummy on my lap, or anywhere else for that matter. I think it has to do with bubbles in her tummy that she gets sometimes after eating. Just give her the pacifier, lay her on her stomach, and she's out! Because of this, she is already getting so good at lifting her head up! Hopefully she'll crawl sooner than Kaylee did (actually, Kaylee never really crawled, it was more like a scoot with one leg in the air).

Freak of Nature

My sister Carissa has been staying with us, and its been so fun! The other day we went to the Layton park so Kaylee could play. While we were there we

saw this crazy mutated duck with a hairdo! We could not believe it. We couldn't tell if it was like hair or feathers.

Island Park

Over the weekend my uncle Kirk and aunt Blenda invited us to Island Park, Idaho! We stayed in a cabin with my aunts, uncles, and cousins, it was so nice to have a little vacation. It was so beautiful in the mountains, and we got to ride wave runners on the lake/river. Kaylee even buoyed up the courage to go for a ride! My aunts and cousin were kind enough to take turns watching Brenna while we played. We also saw the play 'Oklahoma' by some BYU Idaho students, which Nate had never seen before. We all really liked it!

Grandma Cindy bought Brenna these scrubs when she was born, and they finally fit! She's aspiring to be a nurse already!

This is Brenna looking at toys...cause that's all she can do with them at this point! She's starting to smile more and more though...it's so fun to watch her grow.

Fear of swimming...CURED!

Yay! We finally got Kaylee to swim in water other than her bath tub...and she liked it! The Housers invited us to go swimming on Saturday at the Roy Complex, and after a lot of crying and drama, Kaylee actually started enjoying herself! By the end she was daring enough to jump off the side into the water! (With someone catching her of course)

Girls Day Out...Fun At the Treehouse Museum

Yesterday was a blast! Me and my girls went with Kaylee and Remy to the treehouse museum for toddler time. There were games, songs, and stories. It was fun to watch Kaylee explore and play! At one point she was having so much fun with some kids that she actually grabbed another mom's hand on purpose intending to go with her and her kids! It was hilarious. Afterwards, we went to Kaylee's for some Chinese and a chick flick. It was girl heaven! Check out the slide show!

1 month old this week!

I can't believe a month has gone by already! Brenna is definitely filling out. It has been one crazy month, but I have loved spending time with my girls!
