I am an AUNT!!!!!

Today, around 3 o'clock in the mornin' little Jakob Townley Faussett was born! He was 8 lbs and 19 1/2 inches. His feet are humongous! But so cute! He has a lot of chub. His legs are like sausages! He has kissable cheeks and a double chin. His eyes are slanted, but his nose is not that Chinese, yet it looks like Allison's...funny! There is not one thing girly about him. He is ALL boy for sure. I have only held him twice but I love him already!

When Kaylee met him, we told her his name was Jakob, and asked her if she liked that name. She shook her head "no" and said, "Baby Cousin." (That's what we've been calling him inside Allison's belly.) She was more okay with us calling him 'cousin Jakob.'

Allison did great. She put herself into labor with castor oil! She ended up going to Davis Hospital...it's a very long story, so you'll have to ask her for the details. But needless to say, both she and Darin are very proud parents and so cute with their new bundle of joy.

I am TOTALLY lame and forgot to take my camera to the hospital, but I promise I will get pictures of him when I go see them tomorrow! Allison feels better about that anyways since she'll be a little more refreshed then. Welcome to the world, little Jakob!

Back to the grind....work.

Saturday was my first day back to work. I was really nervous, because it had been 3 months since I had done anything to do with nursing. I'm thinking, I'm sure I will get some easy patients, cause I'm SURE they don't want me to kill anyone on my first day back. You know, EASE into it. I walk through the break room door and I am greeted by the charge nurse, who is smiling. "Welcome back, Sarah." She looked happy, but there was something in her voice that told me I was about to receive some bad news. "I'm sorry," she continued, "but you're going to have to go to the ICU." I thought it was a joke! The intensive care unit? On my first day back? Ya right. Then she handed me the assignment sheet, and there was my name in bold letters, Sarah- ICU. No. Way. I got a lump in my throat and bravely walked myself over to the unit. The nurse started giving me report. Hmmm....I guess I know what she's talking about. Ok, I can do this. The first half of my shift was great! My patients were stable, no prob. Then at midnight the crap hit the fan. My patient started crashing and had to be intubated. Luckily the intensivist, respiratory therapist and charge nurse were right there the whole time. Whew! I was seriously glad when that shift was over. HAHAHA Welcome back.

Congratulations KAYLEE!!!!!

Well, I think we've finally done it. Kaylee has been in panties for about a week with minimal accidents. I finally just had to put her in panties and let her get uncomfortable. After about 6 accidents, she finally decided she didn't like the wet feeling. She looked at me with big eyes and started doing the potty dance. I said, do you need to go potty? She said "I need to go potty!" like it was an epiphany. Ever since then, she'll either give the signal (you know what I mean) or tell me she needs to go. It has been WONDERFUL to say the least! Each time she goes she gets to put a sticker on her big potty poster that I made for her like a year ago...she really likes that. She has more confidence now, too. Yesterday she went up to Craig (who lives upstairs) and said "I go stinkies a potty!" He was sweet to celebrate with her. Kaylee we're so proud of you! Good job big girl!

Florida Post #2...Are you ready for a BILLION more pictures?

Waiting at the airport...

These pictures are from Busch Gardens. We really liked it there because it was like a zoo-amusement park. Kaylee really liked it too!

Here is Kaylee hugging a princess after the Dragon show.

And the Dragon...

They had 2 toddler gym areas, and Kaylee had a blast even though it was so flippin' hot!

This kid was crazy, and Kaylee wasn't crazy about him.

Kaylee got brave and went on a few rides all by herself!!!

Nate and Ryan on the water log ride. This theme park had some of the best roller coasters I've ever been on, too.

She works out

I don't even need to comment here, the pictures speak for themselves!

The Bringhursts rented a 12 man van, 'The Family Fun Bus.' Here are some pictures from within

These pictures are literally seconds apart.

Here's pictures from this SWEET aquarium we went to. Kaylee loved it! And the fact that it was air-conditioned and dry. Brenna however screamed a lot while we were there.

DISNEYWORLD!!! The place where dreams come true...drum roll... The Magic Kingdom

Doesn't everyone have a picture like this? Oh well.

Kaylee with her buddy Ry guy...

Poor sticky miserable baby!

You would never be able to tell that Kaylee was sitting next to a statue of her favorite Disney Princess...I mean, look at that face of excitement!

MMMMMM.....Disney food!

Kaylee didn't approve of the prices, either.

Goofing off before the lights parade

The Buzz ride

This was so cute, Minnie Mouse's house in Toontown! It was one of Kaylee's favorites.

More beach shots...

We were in Florida for our 4 year anniversary! I can't believe we've been married that long. For those of you who don't know, Nate and I met at church after he got back from his mission... I had moved into the ward while he was gone (thanks to Kami!) We got married 3 months after I graduated high school. Our first 3 anniversaries were lame; the first one I was pregnant, the second one we had to take Kaylee to the doctor for possibly swallowing jewelry, and the third one I forgot to request that day off work, so we had to celebrate a different day. This one was the best one yet!!! Thanks Nate!

We went on an old fashioned boat for a dinner cruise. It had 3 levels and was beautiful! We sat right next to a window, and I even saw a dolphin jump out of the water in the bay! There was live entertainment and of course a delicious salmon 4 course meal. These pictures suck though. :(
