Busy mommy

Wow, I can't believe how much work it is to have 2 children. Today it took me 4 hours to fold the laundry because of interruptions such as; Brenna's feedings, Kaylee constantly needing her nose wiped, Kaylee crying because I won't let her spit in my water mug, Kaylee crying because when she lays down with her blanket it's too small to cover her feet, Kaylee crying because her play kitchen cupboard door won't stay shut, and Kaylee knocking over my piles while I'm feeding Brenna. Hmmm.....it seems as though there is a common element to most of my distractions....and yes, by the time the laundry was done, all 3 of us were in tears.

It's okay though. I know Kaylee just needs some reinforcement from mom. I feel bad for her. It's like her world is crashing down the way mom can't just drop everything to give her what she requests. I do try to spend special time with her everyday the way we used to, like 'putting on makeup' and doing our hair in matching pigtails, and coloring. It's just that she notices the time I DON'T spend with her just as much if not more than the time I DO spend with her.

Someday I will figure out this whole multiple child thing. In the mean time, I am doing the best I can! On a happier note, how cute is this outfit?

You're such a great mommy. There has to be an adjustment time, same as when you only have one. You'll get a system down and then wonder why you ever stressed. =) I love you and look up to you so much!

My question is this... Do you have a matching outfit to that cute one of Brenna's or have the days of dressing alike gone by the wayside??

Sarah, you are an awesome mom! Like Kaylee said it will just take time...I can't imagine how overwhelmed you must be sometimes! I get overwhelmed just THINKING about how it will be when our baby comes! If you ever need any help or if you want me to fold your laundry for you, I would love to. Just remember you can always call and I'll help however I can!

The best gift you can give your child is a sibling. Folded laundry is overrated; throw it in the drawers and Voila! new system. Then take a nap or color. Just some unsolicited advice. The kids are adorable, congratulations! Hang in there and let some things go.

Oh Sarah, I do not know how you do it with two! I can barely handle Damon. You are so amazing to me, I sure love you! You need to let me know if me or my family can do anything for you, we want to help you in anyway we can without being overbearing. We are coming up next week, and I hope it will be okay if we stop by to see your little angel!
