October 10th

I want to say thanks so much to everyone who expressed so much concern for me...but don't worry, I have good news. The patient was not infectious, so I am back to nursing. Yay!!!!!

Any hoo, yesterday was my best friend's birthday. Nate is now 28...hope he doesn't mind me sharing that! I love that I've been with him for 5 of those years! Nate is so amazing, and I do not talk about him enough on here. Mostly because I know it embarrasses him! But I have full privileges on his birthday (says me).
Nate is really a trooper. Last fall, he took on 18 credit hours of school at the U so he could get it done. In the spring he took 19, in the summer he took 20, and this semester he's taking 20 again. He rarely ever gets a break! I just admire him so much for taking on such a load so he can get school out of the way. I cannot wait till he's done! He's just a couple of months from graduating. I'm so proud of him! He's such a selfless person, and an amazing husband and father. I am just looking forward to spending all my days with him for the rest of my life and forever...and also he is so cute. (He hates it when I use the word 'cute,' but you girls understand don't you.)

So for his birthday, I made him some breakfast, he opened some presents, and we dropped off the girls so we could go see BODY WORLDS. It was seriously so amazing, we were there for almost 4 hours, and we could have been there longer! Some parts were um, shall we say, graphic? I mean, of course it's graphic cause it's a bunch of bodies, but...I wouldn't have taken Kaylee. We took the front runner down, it was really fun!

Afterward we went to Nate's parents house for pizza, pie, and more presents.

Here's Ryan...still single girls!

Kaylee loved helping daddy open presents

Tierney, Cami, Kaylee, Cindy's arm

I love this picture of my girls with their Grandpa!

I don't mean to make this post forever long, but the 10th of October is also the 4 month marker for Brenna! She is such a fun baby, and much happier now that we're back to nursing. She's learning how to use her hands. She's also discovered how loud her voice is. She is constantly yelling at the top of her lungs...so cute!

I love how you can see the white part of her eyes on top...she gets that from me. I used to do that as a baby too!
